Four titanium implants anchor a full bridge. The front two are placed vertically, and the back two are angled at around forty-five degrees for extra grip in the jaw. Together they support an entire arch of fixed teeth. Because the angled implants make the most of your existing bone, you can often avoid the bone grafting or sinus lifts that traditional implants sometimes need.
The result is a full set of teeth held firmly in place, so you can eat, speak and smile with confidence.
The phrase “same-day teeth” is real, not marketing. Here’s the sequence.
It starts with a consultation and a CT scan, so we can plan implant positions precisely and check your suitability. On surgery day we remove any teeth that need to come out, place the four implants, and fit a provisional fixed bridge, all in one appointment. You leave with teeth, not a gap.
A few months later, once the implants have fused with your jaw, we fit your final permanent bridge. That’s the one built for the long haul.
Full-arch replacement comes in a few forms, so here’s how the main options compare.
All-on-4 is the go-to for most full-arch cases. All-on-6 adds two implants for extra support where the jaw and bite call for it. Dentures cost less up front but move around and don’t protect the bone, which is why so many of our patients switch away from them.
Most people are back to normal activities quickly, and the minimal recovery time means you can eat comfortably soon after. There’ll be some swelling and tenderness for a few days, which is completely normal after implant surgery.
While the implants fuse over the following months, we ask you to stick to softer foods and keep the area clean. Once your permanent teeth are fitted, you care for them much like natural teeth, with good brushing and regular check-ups. Keeping your gums healthy matters here, and if gum disease is a concern we can treat it first with periodontal treatment to give your implants the best foundation.
