Your Smile:
Better By Design

When you completely lose a tooth, it doesn’t just leave a gap in your smile, it sets you up for further oral health concerns. Our aim is to restore confidence in your appearance and prevent later damage or decay. The most effective way of realising these aims is with dental implants.

Dental implants are astounding feats of design. Lightweight biocompatible titanium posts will replace the root of your missing teeth. These posts anchor and fuse into your jaw in a process called osseointegration, supporting life-like replacement teeth.

Using dental implants, we can replace anything from a single tooth to a full upper and lower arch. Replacing teeth lost through trauma or decay won’t just improve the aesthetics of your smile, but you’ll enjoy the full functionality you’d expect from your own natural teeth.

The Dental Implant Process

To achieve the amazing results offered by implants takes smart planning. The first thing we’ll do is take a CT scan of your teeth and jaw. These 3D images will allow us to check whether your jaw will provide the necessary stability to hold the implant and let us plan the perfect spot to place it.

A standard dental implant will exert considerable pressure on your jaw, so we may need to carry out a bone graft in preparation for the implant procedure. This will strengthen the bone and provide increased density. That said, there are other, quicker options that we may be able to explore with you too.

When we place the implant, you’ll be under anaesthetic, so you won’t feel a thing. Placing your implant will be implant expert, Dr Kailesh Solanki, the man responsible for restoring countless smiles.

Caring for Your Dental Implants

Once in position, with the proper care and attention, a dental implant will last for an entire lifetime. We’ll cap your implant off with a durable and natural-looking crown that should last for many years to come. As with any dental prosthetic, a proper hygiene routine should be followed and regular dental checkups made.

There’s no deep secret to maintaining dental implants. Just brush your teeth twice a day using fluoride toothpaste, floss, and use mouthwash. This will ensure you can smile with confidence for the rest of your life.
