Light Alloy Partial dentures in Manchester at Kissdental
The majority of partial dentures are fabricated using either a hard or flexible dental acrylic (plastic). Light alloy partial dentures are fabricated using a combination of acrylic and a light alloy metal, such as chrome cobalt or titanium. Light alloy partial dentures are completely biocompatible with your mouth, they are less bulky, more comfortable and more durable than their plastic counterparts. Light alloy dentures are held firmly in place with metal clasps or alternatively with resin clasps that match your existing tooth colour. If you do not like the idea of visible clasps we can offer precision attachments to hold your denture in place, which are more discreet.
Hygienic and kind to your mouth
Light alloy partial dentures are more hygienic than bulky plastic dentures and since they cover a smaller area of your oral cavity they are more comfortable and allow you to taste food much better.
Your light alloy partial denture will:
- Provide you with the ability to speak clearly compared to wearing bulky plastic dentures
- Make eating food a more enjoyable and comfortable experience
- Improve the aesthetic of your smile and thus confidence
